Ordering,...read moreThe SlipStream is awesome! I live in Florida and have a pool that I rarely used before the SlipStream. Now, I'm trying to swim everyday when I don't have other plans. Ordering, delivery, and assembly were super easy for a non-mechanically inclined guy like myself. I was surprised how much I liked the snorkel, nose-plug, and centering marker(initially) for the swim in the SlipStream. Basically, you have a "treadmill" in your pool. Very cool! But, might be a bit boring, what do you do to engage? Obviously, this is up to the individual! I know I feel my ~45 minute work outs throughout most of the day, and that is rewarding. I asked AI, X's Grok, to come up with a beginner's swim routine using a SlipStream and it provided me with a routine that started with a warm-up, main-set, and a cool-down, with minutes instead of distances, WOW, it did it, with some tweaking. So, I'm doing various sets/intervals etc. based on a summarized AI recommendation that I printed and laminated, and keep poolside for my workouts. I added Zygo underwater headphones to the mix and will tweak the workouts over time... p.s. I found a "Stopwatch" that fits on a forefinger to see my time per interval/break. BOTTOM LINE: Awesome Product and Game Changer, for me!

Since I travel quite a bit, maintaining a...read moreI've known for a few years that I wanted an "endless lap pool" device. Then I found Slipstream at a price point that I could manage. Since I travel quite a bit, maintaining a healthy workout schedule has been tough. When I'm home getting to the local pool is tough when it's a 8 mile one way drive and it's a multi use facility for many swim teams. Plus it's an outdoor facility here in Florida, so afternoon thunderstorms or lightning within 5 miles kick everyone out. I know these are lame excuses, but no more!!! Alas no more excuses, I now get my pool workouts in my 12,000 gallon pool at home and it's awesome! Not wasting time driving to the pool, not competing with octogenarian water aerobics classes (bless their hearts), or swim teams and nature! I now get two and even three swim sessions a day, and most importantly....no circle swim or lane sharing!!!! Getting back into a great routine did have a bit of learning curve for me... Learning how to stay in the 'stream' or column of water took a minute, but the team at Slipstream had some tips and squared me away. I love that the volume knob goes to eleven! Inside joke for Spinal Tap fans! But also useful for starting slow on my first swim session of the morning and warming up, 2nd session for sprints, and that 3rd sessions for longer swims and I'm now up to 25 minutes of continuous swimming on my long session. I know that those times will grow loner and faster with more use. My wife who admittedly is not a swimmer loves the water aerobic aspect of jogging in place against the stream. I mean it's fast enough at full volume one could kayak against it, really!! It would great for kids just play and learn to kick against. We also use as water feature a night when were on the back tiki area, the sound is very soothing! We are super happy with our purchase! Easy to use, lightweight (even the battery), no maintenance, and simple to use!!

The alternative being a self contained unit built exclusively for swimming in place as opposed to utilizing the already existing investment which is our pool. Slipstream has put in the work and then some. The first time I put the Slipstream in my pool and discovered the ease of use in the setup I knew I was in for a treat. What I wasn’t prepared for was the obstacles I would be facing like ‘how to remain in the stream’ were already addressed in the details like a snorkel to keep my head down and a pointed weight on the pool floor to focus on the would help me do just that. Instead of maintaining my pool with chemicals and looking at the nice clear water my pool is now a magnificent space to workout and maintain a healthy way of life. Thank you Slipstream for converting my pool from a nice thing to have to a transformational space I look forward to like no other.

Honestly, this is a big “Wow” moment. The machine is quiet, consistent and easy to use. I am retired and thought I kept my pool clean, but the filter on the machine is still picking up debris! In just a week I made it to swimming an hour a day. I can feel my core, shoulders and arms getting a workout. The grandkids use it as a lazy river and my wife uses it to strengthen her core. The design is so...read moreAssembly could not have been any easier than it was. Great instructions from the provided package but also has QR code to watch a video at each stage of assembly. The design is so simplistic in nature but you can tell alot of thought was put into it. The unit itself is easy to maneuver, put into and pull out of the pool. My family mainly uses the slip stream to exercise and work on swim techniques, young ones are in a swim team. The stream is fast enough to get a steady pace for a moderate work out but when cranked up you get a great intense work out simulating almost a sprint pace. Overall we're very pleased with the slip stream and would recommend to anyone.

I recommend to use the snorkel with the centering device to get used to centering. If you love swimming and have a pool at home, SlipStream is a great investment.
