Troubleshooting & Frequently Asked Questions
- After plugging in your Slipstream, set the speed control knob to 0 for at least 5 seconds before increasing the speed.
- Make sure the power plug is fully seated and securely connected.
- Check the battery voltmeter (screen on Power Supply) to confirm it shows voltage or charge percentage.
- Turn the speed control knob to 5 and verify the voltmeter displays a voltage reading.
- If the voltmeter is blank, place the Power Supply on the charger to reset the Battery Management System (BMS).
- If the voltmeter shows 25V or higher and the machine still won't run, contact customer service.
Battery Tip: Avoid fully discharging the battery. Recharge regularly for best performance.

1. Check the Voltmeter
- Make sure the voltmeter is turned on using the small power button.
- Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to toggle between voltage and charge percentage.
2. Verify the Charger
- Plug the charger into the Battery Power Supply and a wall outlet.
- Confirm the charger status light is illuminated.
Red (120W/240W) or Orange (450W) = Charging
Green = Fully Charged - For 240W and 450W chargers, ensure the charger power switch is turned on.
3. Check Battery Connections
- Red lead → Positive (+) terminal
- Black lead → Negative (–) terminal
- Ensure all connections are tight and terminal colors match.
4. If the Battery Was Fully Discharged
- Recharge the battery as soon as possible.
- New batteries ship with approximately 20% charge and should be fully charged before extended use.
5. Long-Term Storage
- Fully charge the battery before storage and turn off the voltmeter.
Still not charging?
If the charger light is on and all connections are correct but the battery will not charge, contact customer support.
- Remove it and let the plug end dry—it should function normally
- If the Power Supply falls in, remove it, drain it on its side, and contact customer service
- Use the safety lanyard and anchor system to prevent this
